Cads Logo(My Free PR ) Washington, DC, April 24, 2007 --  What can you do in 8 weeks? Interested in a Master’s degree in Defense, Security and Counterterrorism?

Earn 16 credits right in the heart of Washington, DC and be on your way to a 48-credit Master’s degree in WMD Defense and Counterterrorism from the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CADS) in collaboration with Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

Just a year since launching the program, the Center has already graduated a good number of students from its accelerated MS in WMD Defense and Counterterrorism. Designed for students pursing careers in federal and state-level law enforcement, as well as working defense and security professionals, this collaborative MS degree features courses in: cultural intelligence, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) threats and defense, psychology of terrorism, economics of political violence and narco-terrorism defense.

Building much needed human capacity in security and defense, courses are held evenings and weekends, in an effort to especially accommodate working students. Courses are taught by expert faculty and supplemented by presentations from distinguished guest speakers hailing from government, academia and industry. These experts have a professional background from such institutions as the FBI, DEA, CIA, NSA, Department of Defense, Department of Treasury, Department of Justice, Department of State, World Bank, as well as other federal and international organizations.

No application fees or deadlines!

The program accepts students on a rolling basis based on a quarter system. To apply or learn more, visit our website at www.c4ads.org/ssp, email This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or call 202 289 3332.
