In keeping with the requests of their clients, OpenAFranchise.com added this multi-media upgrade as a test. This Virtual Franchise Agent will answer basic questions about Franchises. It will direct the consumer to a specific page by providing the link based on the consumer's questions.
When a consumer visits the Franchise Website, they have the option of clicking on "Chat with Agent" on the main page of the Franchise Portal Site. A Virtual Franchise Agent pops up and asks how they can help the consumer. When the consumer asks a question, the Virtual Franchise Agent answers based on an algorithm that is preprogrammed. The Virtual Franchise Agent is not a live person, but rather a computer program that uses a keyword system to identify the best answer.
If by chance the consumer asks a question that can not be answered by the Virtual Franchise Agent, an email is sent to the Website Staff and a live person will email the correct answer to the consumer within 24 hours.
This interactive upgrade will allow OpenAFranchise.com to better serve the consumer by allowing them to receive direct information about specific Franchises & Categories. It will permit the consumer to locate the Franchise they are looking for by providing answers and links directly to the Category Page for that specific Franchise Type.
