Neil Schneider(MTBS) Co-Presentingwith Mark Rein (Epic Games) and Danny Bilson (THQ Inc.)

Los Angeles,California – August 5th, 2008 – During two separate stereoscopic 3D (S-3D)events being held at SIGGRAPH in the LA Convention Center next week, Neil Schneider,President & CEO of Meant to be Seen, will be co-presenting alongside MarkRein, VP and Co-Founder of Epic Games, and Danny Bilson, VP of CreativeDevelopment for THQ Inc. VisitMTBS in the iZ3D Booth #158 during SIGGRAPH.

Similar to the experience movie goers get in 3Dtheaters, consumer gamers use S-3D technology at home for superior gameimmersion, visual beauty and game enjoyment.  In video games, stereoscopic 3D hardware makes explosionsfly out of the screen and adds a depth that makes the screen look like a windowrather than a flat projection. Sample hardware includes iZ3D 3D monitors, TDVision head mounteddisplays, and a growing selection of 3D HDTVs by Samsung, Mitsubishi, andSpectronIQ.

Stereoscopic 3D displays are quickly becomingthe equipment of choice for avid gamers, and the technology has alreadydemonstrated as much as 3:1 revenue benefits over 2D theaters in the Hollywoodcinema space.

The first presentationis taking place August 11th at 3:45PM PT in Petree Hall C.  Neil Schneider will be giving a crashcourse on modern stereoscopic 3D gaming, and will be joined by Mark Rein for aspecial demonstration of Epic Games’ Unreal Tournament 3 in stereoscopic 3Dusing a mix of iZ3D and Real D hardware and software.

Meant to be Seen is theforemost authority group on consumer stereoscopic 3D technology.  It has quickly become the largest S-3Dcommunity in existence by working jointly with its members and partners to growthe stereoscopic 3D gaming industry through advocacy and business relationships.  Their site features industryinterviews, S-3D game reviews, active forums, game certification and a memberdriven massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) called MTBS Nations at War.

"It is a fantasticexperience when you see games like ours running with proper stereoscopicequipment," said Mark Rein, VP and Co-Founder of Epic Games.

Epic Games is a leadinggame and game engine developer. Their Unreal Tournament 3 and Gears of War titles are criticallyacclaimed, and their Unreal Engine 3 is renowned in the game developmentindustry.

“Unreal Tournament 3 isa visual success in stereoscopic 3D and I’m excited to see how the audiencewill respond when they see it on the big screen.  We will be using the popular iZ3D S-3D drivers along with RealD technology to make this work. Real D is the same technology used in modern movie theaters forsuccessful films like Beowulf 3D, Hannah Montana 3D, and Journey to the Centerof the Earth 3D.  Special thanks goto Rob Engle of Sony Imageworks, SIGGRAPH, TDVision Corp., iZ3D, and NVIDIA andReal D for supplying the specialized equipment needed to make this possible,”Schneider said.

The second presentationwill be more hands-on and takes place as part of “The (Gorilla) Studio” venuelocated in Hall H.  Neil Schneiderwill give a tour of modern S-3D equipment through example, Danny Bilson, VP ofCreative Development for THQ will share his opinion on the technology, andaudience members will be able to try some popular THQ games on a selection ofPC focused 3D displays including the iZ3D 22” 3D monitor and the TDVision HeadMounted Display.

THQ is a leading gamedeveloper whose popular titles include the Company of Heroes series,S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, and Frontlines: Fuel of War.

“THQ Inc. is synonymouswith the words “gaming success”. Our members are huge fans of their work, and we are honored that DannyBilson will be co-presenting with us,” Schneider said.
