International
speaker and business coach, Stevee Ashlock, has been commissioned to co-author,
“Techno Security Guide to E-Discovery and Digital Forensics.” It is
being published by Syngress Publication, a division of Elsevier, Inc. The
book is scheduled to be released at the 2007 Techno Forensic Conference in Gaithersburg, Maryland,
October 29-31, 2007. Ashlock is currently billed a keynote speaker at the
conference and will be available for book signings.
A
recent newcomer to the cyber crime and computer forensic field, Ashlock has
found an untouched niche. She teaches expert witnesses how to present
their evidence and testimony in an effective manner where jury members can
understand the necessary information needed to make a solid decision. “It is
vital for an expert witness to establish credibility from the moment they step
foot in the courtroom,” Ashlock declares. “A first impression is
conceived within the first three seconds. This is long before the expert
witness even has a chance to speak!”
Ashlock was a guest speaker at the 2007
CyberCrime Summit at Kennesaw
State University
in Kennesaw, Georgia, this past spring.
She delivered an informative, intense, but humorous, keynote lecture to her audiences.
Attendees consisted mainly of FBI, GBI, law enforcement, government agencies
and computer forensic specialists. Ashlock is confirmed as a guest
speaker for the 2008 CyberCrime Summit,
March 17-21, 2008.
In
early June, Ashlock wowed her audience again at the Techno Security Conference
in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. While there, she was
asked to video tape a preview segment for the Techno Security website. It
can be seen at www.Techno2007.com Jack Wiles, director of Techno Security, has extended an invitation for
Ashlock to join the speaker agenda for the 2007 Techno Forensic Conference in Gaithersburg, Maryland,
October 23-31, 2007, and the 2008 Techno Security Conference in Myrtle Beach, South
Carolina, June 1-4, 2008.
